ARTBA’s Transportation Builders Institute is offering an intensive two-day program for road and bridge building construction managers that will focus on both the substantive theory and practical application of project management principles.

The Project Management Academy is scheduled for March 29-30 in the Midtown section of New York City. Register now.

Topics are tailored to the needs of transportation contractors, not general construction. Participants will hear from experts in key disciplines in an interactive format that will help make them better leaders and managers.

Speakers and topics include: Chis Brasco, senior partner at Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, LLP, on construction documentation; Howard S. Jacobowitz, partner at Voute, Lohrfink, Magro & McAndrew, LLP, on “Construction Contract Clauses from Hell”; and Robinson Vasquez, ARTBA’s safety training & business development specialist, on the economics of safety. Check the schedule to see others.

Up to 13 ARTBA Professional Development Hours are available. ARTBA’s Transportation Development Foundation created the Transportation Builder Institute to offer educational academies and training programs designed exclusively to meet the professional development needs of transportation construction professionals.
